  1. Beautiful pictures! I'm having a hard time finding modest wedding gowns and love yours! May I ask where you got it?

  2. When I was trying on dresses I found one at david's bridal very similar to this one. I didn't want anything strapless myself and that proved very hard to find. Mine is similar to this.

Or you could consider a lace jacket over it? That was an option I finally considered as well.

    Good Luck!

  4. My dress was from allurebridals.com. I found it under the modest dresses. My bridesmaids' dresses were from shabbyapple.com and downeast.com

  6. I love both the Mum's dresses, especially the one with the little lacy top - I am a MOTG in a few month's time. Can you please tell me where these dresses came from and/or the label/designer? I'm in Australia so it's a long shot I might find the same thing or similar here, but it's just about exactly what I am looking for as I am very limited in colour choice due to colour of the rest of the bridal party. PS The photos are beautiful too!

    1. I also love the mum's dresses. I will be a MOTB in November and I'm also in Australia. I have only just found an outfit - a champagne coloured simple sleeveless shift from Auberjean in Mittagong NSW. I was lucky to find a matching coloured bolero jacket from David Jones if the night gets chilly.
      Good luck

    2. Well done Leonie. I bought an outfit today from Liz Davenport in the city. It's a coffee coloured 3 piece - singlet top, tiered skirt and a very sheer, flowy jacket that can be worn loose or tied at the front like a bolero. I'm now already trying to figure out best colour shoes & accessories (thinking gold) - need some serious neck bling too!

  7. I think that the mom's dresses were both from Macy's. You might be able to find something similar there, but I doubt these ones are still in stock. It was over a year ago

  8. Thanks Amanda,

We don't have Macy's here, but I have my outfit now. Wedding is in a couple of weeks, still deciding between 6 handbags LOL. I still love your photos every time I look at them - Wow a whole year! I bet it has flown.

  9. I am from Oklahoma and our temple is being closed for an 18 month renovation. My son and his future bride are looking into the Dallas area and I need inexpensive reception places for a smallish wedding as everyone will have to travel. Any ideas as you look to be from the area?
