Huckleberry Friends

Since the seven-week break started David and I have seen each other maybe once or twice a week for no  longer than four hours at a time. With him working two jobs all day and night and with me working two jobs during the day we haven't really been able to have many date nights. Last night, the stars aligned and we were able to throw together a last minute camping trip as soon as David got home from work. We packed up the big, blue truck, loaded up our bikes and headed up to Kelly Canyon.
We mountain biked and cooked dinner over campfire. We were laughing and eating as an older couple came up to our camp and asked if we could help them jump start their car. We happily obliged and they gave us a basket full of huckleberries as a thank you. Hash tag good karma.

Then we came home to have a shower and breakfast before church.
P.S. Tomorrow we'll be having huckleberry milkshakes until we're sick.

Nothing really exciting going on around these parts. Let's see, I changed my major at the end of last semester so at the beginning of this one I got a taste of something completely different. And you know what? I'm in love. My new major is exercise physiology and I think this time I'm stickin' to it. I really like the things I'm learning so far in my nutrition and wellness classes. In one of my classes I have to keep a journal and in it I have to list 5 goals for the day and I have to do 3 acts of service. Sounds easy right? Wrong! There are so many things I want to do for David only to get home and realize that he's already done them. Yesterday I came home from class and the apartment was spotless, bed was made, and he was cooking dinner! Not that I'm complaining, but that guy needs to be lazier and let me serve him! Haha okay rant over.

WARNING: I'm about to get really gushy and lovey-dovey. {deal with it}

So listen, the first three months of our marriage we were living in Minnesota in his parents' basement. It was wonderful to spend time getting to know David's  family. I love them all so much. But I'm not going to pretend that it didn't make me want to hurry up and set up house.

Fast forward to now. We are still happily married...duh. We are all settled in frigid Rexburg. We are 1 for 2 on the job front. We are making slightly great grades {despite the fact that I'm taking Chemistry AND Anat & Phys} 

We are absolutely, head over heels, nauseatingly, adorably, in LOVE.  I love living with David! I have seriously learned so much about him. It's kind of creepy how similar we are with certain things and annoying when we disagree. {but lets face it, that almost never happens.} 

Today, we were talking about Valentines day and how we have to postpone it a day because husband has to work. We both had some romantic ideas for how to surprise each other but David was worried that we planned the same thing so he told me what he was doing... GOOD THING! We were both planning on waking up super early to make  a cute Valentines breakfast for the other. We would have crossed paths in the kitchen. Luckily, I have some other tricks up my sleeve that he doesn't know about. I hope he likes them.

I can't believe we will be married in less than two weeks! I cannot even express how excited I am!

To David,
I love you. I can't wait to be your wife. I can't wait to spend forever with you! I am so glad I got to see you last weekend, but I think it made me miss you more! Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for keeping me calm when it feels like everything is going crazy around me. Thank you for proposing and making November 11, 2011 the happiest day of my life so far... that is, until our wedding day when I can be sealed to you for time and all eternity!
Then that will most definitely be the happiest day of my life.

I'm really missing David these days. It's a good thing I get to see him in 22 1/2 days! I can't freaking wait!

Seriously, I doubt time could go any slower... I want this semester to be over pronto! I need a vacation from lovely Rexburg, Idaho now.
