I can't believe we will be married in less than two weeks! I cannot even express how excited I am!

To David,
I love you. I can't wait to be your wife. I can't wait to spend forever with you! I am so glad I got to see you last weekend, but I think it made me miss you more! Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for keeping me calm when it feels like everything is going crazy around me. Thank you for proposing and making November 11, 2011 the happiest day of my life so far... that is, until our wedding day when I can be sealed to you for time and all eternity!
Then that will most definitely be the happiest day of my life.

Rexburg, Idaho LDS Temple

I just got home from going through the temple for the first time! It was a really good experience, I have never felt the Spirit of God so strongly in my entire life.

I can't wait to go again. I really can't wait to go with David. I think it will be a really amazing thing to share with him as my husband.

Before I went to the temple I was getting lots of different opinions from lots of people on whether he should have been with me or not. I honestly think that for me, it would have been a distraction for him to be there. don't get me wrong, I love him dearly, more than anything in the world. because of that, and the fact that I would have been just seeing him for the first time in months, I know that my mind would have been on him and not focused on the things that I was experiencing. 

I am grateful that I could share this moment with my momma and Connie. I love them and I know they have my back, always.

I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I know he will always be there for me when I need Him. I know that through prayer and scripture study and listening to the testimonies of our loved ones we will feel closer to Him. I know that the prophet is called of God. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and he has a purpose for me, even if I don't know what it is at this time. I know that David and I will be together forever.

end of sophomore year

Yes! It's finally here! I AM ALMOST DONE WITH ANOTHER YEAR OF COLLEGE.
I can't wait to get out of the Burg. I can't wait to be done with classes and finals.


To do list for the month and a half before the wedding:

• kick my finals' trash
• pack up my entire life into my car
• kiss goodbye my last semester of college as a young single adult
• drive to Utah and see old friends
• pick up my momma in salt lake
• drive 20 long, but exciting hours back to the Lone Star State (praying that we don't miss Matt & Amy's new baby's birth)
• play with said baby, a lot
• get my dress fitted
• celebrate turning 20
• get a tan
• get a sexy, perfect body for wedding pictures... haha, yeah right
• babysit for some extra cash
• learn how to cook... again, haha, yeah right
• sew a quilt
• finalize all of the wedding plans that escape me right now because there are so many...
• go to the temple and get endowed
• take a deep breath and realize that screaming out of constant excitement might frighten people around me
• relax and marry my best friend in the entire world

16 days until I turn twenty.

It has seriously been forever since I posted! What's up with that?! I'm guessing it's probably because of: roommate's birthday celebrations.

partying.

homework has been killer.

moving apartments... at least i'm on the first floor!

So I think I should tell you about some major awesome/awkwards that have happened since I last posted.

awkward:

• Katelyn had a birthday on the 11th then Erin had one on the 13th. We decorated the apartment with balloons on the morning of the 11th and left them up. At midnight on the 13th we screamed outside the front door "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN!" Then we danced around the apartment and on the porch. Then, the boys across the parking lot form us started flipping their lights on and off and dancing with us. Then there might have been a little dance competition... this was all happening, and we were stuffing balloons in our shirts, and were probably being too loud because out of no where some guy came up right in our faces wearing a scream halloween costume! It was terrifying! Angela and Kody screamed, Erin froze and Katelyn ran away. Then, while i was screaming, I chucked the hard, plastic,  completely full water bottle I was holding at the guy and it hit him square in the face and we slammed the door. Laughing hysterically. So creepy...
• Trying to find people to ride to Utah with.
• The aftermath form the festival of colors. It took a few days to stop sneezing out rainbow snot.. Attractive.
• I didn't get to see Cami when I went to Utah. But, at least I got to wish her a happy birthday and write all over her car!
• Wearing skirts in windy Rexburg. Sorry if you've seen more than you wanted...
• Trying to figure out a new apartment to move into for next semester. I've moved twice.. Hopefully nauvoo house doesn't mess up again.

awesome:

• Dancing at Erin's party and when she almost killed some boy while swinging the bat at the pinata.
• This semester is almost over!
• My roommates are so sweet this semester and i'm going to miss them.
• The festival of colors was really fun and I got some cute and really funny pictures with Mary and her roommates.
• I'm now in love with the hunger games! David and I read the first book and we are hooked! I can't wait to see the movie!!
• GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS THIS WEEKEND. I love conference and being able to hear the prophet and apostles speak to us!
• I GET TO SEE DAVID THIS SATURDAY!!

Seriously, I doubt time could go any slower... I want this semester to be over pronto! I need a vacation from lovely Rexburg, Idaho now.

awkward & awesome friday

It is a great day! So warm and beautiful! This weather has definitely put a smile on my face.

awkward:

• Barely noticing that I was within centimeters of eating the sticker on my apple
• In my family relations class we were talking about communication. the professor decides to do an experiment. he starts off by saying this is going to seem a little awkward, and I know some of you are married, but I promise this doesn't count as infidelity... Then he tells us to find a partner and hold their hand, now look into their eyes, then we were to give the person 3 sincere compliments, and then switch... It was so funny!
• The fact that I am so so manly at the gym. I don't think i'm supposed to be able to do 260 lb calf raises,  leg press 270 lbs, squat 95 lbs, and then go swim 20 laps... I'm really surprised that I can walk today. Well actually I ran three miles this morning before class.  
• Butt/boob sweat. We all get it. It's gross.
• Guys that stare at you in the gym, I don't know if they're impressed or annoyed that I'm in the way.

awesome:

• This amazing weather! It feels like spring's a commin'. Thank goodness.
• The smell of sunless tanner is wafting through where I'm writing this, I love that smell.
• It's less than a month until i'm actually in Mini-soda! I can't wait! 28 days, 21 hours, 57 minutes, 14, 13, 12... I CAN'T WAIT!!

i'm ready

• I'm ready for a change. 
• I'm ready for this semester to be over.
• I'm ready for spring. 
• I'm ready to visit David and his family in Minnesota.
• I love my roommates, but I'm ready for new ones.
• I'm ready to get a TAN!
• I'm ready to be warm again.
